Brief Biography
Born in the village Chyornaya Rechka of Tomsk District of Tomsk Oblast. After leaving school studied in a vocational school, obtained the certificate of a machine operator. Worked as a turner apprentice in Tomsk Electromechanical Plant, a tractor driver in the village Loskutovo of Tomsk District. After service in the army was appointed a secretary of the Komsomol Committee in the sovkhoz Takhtamyshevsky. In 1962-1965 studied in the Omsk Higher Party School. Since 1965 - a manager of the Kaftanchikovo Department of the sovkhoz Takhtamyshevsky; since 1967 - a deputy director of the sovkhoz Takhtamyshevsky. In 1971 graduated from Tyumen Agricultural Institute. In 1974 founded and headed the sovkhoz Tom.
