Nelli Krechetova


Nelli Krechetova Born on March 20, 1949 in Tomsk.

In 1971, graduated from the Department of History of the Tomsk State University. In 1983, defended her candidate’s degree thesis.

1971-1987, lectures in the universities of Tomsk (assistant, senior instructor, associate professor).

1987-1991, secretary of the Tomsk City Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

Since 1991, has been working in the Tomsk Oblast Administration. Served in positions such as Advisor to the Governor of Tomsk Oblast, Head of the Information Policy Department of Tomsk Oblast. In December 2003, she was appointed Deputy Chief Administrator (Governor) of Tomsk Oblast for information policy, and international and public relations. Since July 2006, Head of the Department of International and Regional Relations of the Tomsk Oblast Administration.

In December 2010, was appointed Ombudsman for Human Rights of Tomsk Oblast (by Decree of the Tomsk Oblast State Duma No. 3946 of December 17, 2010).

Lectures at the Department of Journalism and the Department of Philosophy of the Tomsk State University. Chairs the Public Relations State Examination Board of the Department of Psychology of the Tomsk State University.

Chairs the supervisory board of the Favor Charitable Foundation.

Married to a scientist, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences; has a daughter, university lecturer, candidate of philosophical sciences.
