Deputies
The Legislative Duma of Tomsk Oblast is a single-chamber body and consists of 42 deputies elected by the people of the Oblast based on universal, equal and direct suffrage through secret voting for a 5- year term.
21 deputies of the Legislative Duma of Tomsk Oblast are elected from single-member constituencies (one deputy from one constituency) formed on the basis of a uniform electoral quotient for constituency.
21 deputies of the Legislative Duma of Tomsk Oblast are elected from the unified constituency proportionally to the number of votes, given for the regional lists of candidates for deputies, nominated by the electoral associations (political parties entitled under federal laws to participate in elections, or regional units or other structural units of political parties entitled under federal law to participate in elections of the corresponding level).
